01Data we collect

Account data: your email address, display name, and public handle when you register.

Quiz content: the quizzes, questions, answers, and settings you create as a maker.

Attempt data: quiz responses, scores, and completion status. Guest attempts are linked to a device token; signed-in attempts are linked to your account.

Uploaded files: PDFs and photos you attach for AI quiz drafting. These are processed to generate questions and are not stored after the draft completes.

Technical data: standard logs such as IP address and browser type, used for security and reliability.

02How we use your data

To operate the service: creating and delivering quizzes, grading attempts, and showing results.

To send transactional emails you expect — sign-up confirmation, password reset, magic links, and account changes. We do not send marketing or bulk email.

To process AI features you explicitly request, such as drafting questions from your material or grading written answers.

To enforce attempt limits, credit balances, and abuse prevention.

03AI processing

When you use AI drafting, the text or files you provide are sent to a large language model (Google Gemini) through our AI provider to generate questions. When AI grading is enabled on a quiz, written answers are sent for scoring.

We do not use your content to train AI models, and we ask our providers not to either.

AI output can be wrong. AI-generated questions should be reviewed before publishing, and AI-graded answers can be overridden by the quiz maker at any time.

04Third-party processors

Hosting, database, and authentication are provided by Lovable Cloud. Transactional email is delivered through our email provider. AI features run through the Lovable AI Gateway using Google Gemini models. Payments are processed by Whop — we never see or store your card details.

Each processor handles data only as needed to provide its service to us.

05Data retention and deletion

Quiz content and attempt records are kept while the quiz or your account exists. Deleting a quiz permanently removes its questions, answer keys, attempts, and results.

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required for legal or accounting purposes.

06Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

07Children

Aicai Quizzes is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

08Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new 'last updated' date.
